Diabetes UK are so excited to be working with The Running Accountant Limited as one of their charity partners for 2020/2021. Diabetes is relentless. It can take over your life, dominating your every thought and action.
At Diabetes UK, we’re here for everyone affected by diabetes.
We’re leading the fight against a diabetes crisis, and it's a fight that involves us all – sharing knowledge and taking on diabetes together. More people than ever have diabetes, and the number of people experiencing complications or dying because of their diabetes is growing too.
We’re fighting for a world where diabetes can do no harm, and as the UK’s leading diabetes charity, it’s our job to tackle the challenges individuals and the country face because of it. We provide information, advice and support to people with all types of diabetes so they can learn to live well with their condition. We bring people together so they can learn from each other and get to grips with diabetes. Our campaigns make sure diabetes is at the top of the political agenda and we fight to make sure everyone gets the care they need. Our research builds our knowledge of diabetes, develops improved treatments and will, one day, find a cure. We can only do all this thanks to our supporters whose donations and fundraising make all of our work possible.

I have decided to raise funds for a small charity called the Nystagmus Network. They support people with the eye condition known as a nystagmus. We know it very well as my son has had the condition since birth.
About 1 in 1000 people in the UK suffer with the condition which is a "for life" condition and has no cure.
